Steve Cook disappeared in Crete at around 1am Thursday 1st Sept 2005.
Last seen outside Mike's Bar at the top of Beach St asking for directions to the hotel Frixos and then turning left towards Sissi, wearing pink t-shirt with the word 'CROSSHATCH' written on it, black combat trousers and white Adidas trainers.

Disappearence
Personality:
- Steve is a nice lad, well thought of by all who know him, and if involved in a confrontational situation would be apologetic and back down.
- He has never been known to disappear like this before and always keeps in touch with his family when he is away from home - either through the Internet or by mobile.
- Steve had no girlfriend at the time of his disappearence and no known trouble in his life. He had been making plans with his brother prior to going away to buy tickets for the Liverpool / Chelsea champions league game.
- He is an avid Liverpool fan and if he met any other football fans out there would no doubt have mentioned Liverpool FC, the champions league win and his trip to Istanbul. He loves nothing more than talking and watching football.
- Steve studies Business and Marketing at Liverpool university where he was due to enter his 3rd and final year.

Steve was wearing a faded pink / salmon t-shirt with the wording CROSSHATCH written across the chest. The T-shirt has white trimmings on the arms and on the round neck collar and a dragon motif on the front.
